Below, I present my paintings in chronological order. All of them are commissioned pieces painted with acrylics, and each one has taught me a great deal about both the artistic process and design work.

For the first time in many years, I had a little time to paint again. My partner suggested we give a painting as a wedding gift to our friends. It took over a year to complete. The final piece brings together our thoughts and the couple’s, coming together step by step over that time.
More Colours! 11/2023 More Colours! 11/2023 More Colours! 11/2023 More Colours! 11/2023
This piece stands out from the others because of its vibrant palette. The client wanted strong colours, and I truly enjoyed working with them. It was also the last piece I had time to finish before diving into my new studies at Aalto ARTS.
Blending Representational and Abstract 10/2023 Blending Representational and Abstract 10/2023 Blending Representational and Abstract 10/2023 Blending Representational and Abstract 10/2023
This commission came from a client who wanted a calming theme inspired by nature and animals. The wish was for something subtle yet beautiful, so I chose a peacock as the subject. The result is a rich and detailed work that balances realism with abstraction.
Light and Shadow 8/2023 Light and Shadow 8/2023 Light and Shadow 8/2023 Light and Shadow 8/2023
I got a great chance to create a diptych. The client asked for strong contrast, so I made a piece exploring light and shadow. A diptych is such an interesting form. It challenges the artist to multitask between two pieces growing and living side by side.
Am I Impressive Enough? 2/2023 Am I Impressive Enough? 2/2023 Am I Impressive Enough? 2/2023 Am I Impressive Enough? 2/2023
Every artist aims to push their boundaries in different ways. One of them is by creating bigger. I got my chance with this commission: a large piece balancing white and dark tones, inspired by the nature of Lapland. A rehearsal painting was also needed before starting the final one.
Layers on Layers 10/2022 Layers on Layers 10/2022 Layers on Layers 10/2022 Layers on Layers 10/2022
This piece was made for an older client who wanted something that brings nature closer to his home. I had no strict instructions, so I built it up layer by layer. This work also shows how contrast and depth can truly feels on a canvas.
So Long, but Worth Waiting 9/2022 So Long, but Worth Waiting 9/2022 So Long, but Worth Waiting 9/2022 So Long, but Worth Waiting 9/2022
It took almost six months to finish this one. I was very excited about this diptych and happy that the client pushed my boundaries in the right way. The colours and contrasts make it an interesting, multilayered piece of art.
Turning Point 3/2022 Turning Point 3/2022 Turning Point 3/2022 Turning Point 3/2022
As I told the client, with this I really started to recognise my own style. Maybe it was because I was given freedom with it. By coincidence, the colours turned out to be the same as in the Ukrainian flag. Someone also saw an angel forming in the middle of the piece.
Growing Family 2/2022 Growing Family 2/2022 Growing Family 2/2022 Growing Family 2/2022
This painting was created for a family of three. Can you recognize them in the painting? The colour scheme was requested to be green and inspired by nature.
Finally, Pink! 12/2021 Finally, Pink! 12/2021 Finally, Pink! 12/2021 Finally, Pink! 12/2021
I had been waiting for the chance to use a brave colour like pink. The piece turned out fabulous and now hangs on the client’s living room wall. He was also very happy to have chosen a colour that stands out from the more typical ones.
In Between Beige and White 11/2021 In Between Beige and White 11/2021 In Between Beige and White 11/2021 In Between Beige and White 11/2021
The most challenging aspect of this painting was finding the right balance between beige and white. The client wanted a large piece that wouldn’t dominate the space but would bring harmony to his living room. The textured surface allows the painting to come alive differently throughout the day.
To Gymnastics and Nature! 10/2021 To Gymnastics and Nature! 10/2021 To Gymnastics and Nature! 10/2021 To Gymnastics and Nature! 10/2021
A client who coaches gymnastics wanted a piece that represents natural tones and forms. Since her life is deeply connected to gymnastics, I wanted to include an abstract figure of a gymnast in the painting.
To a Dear Lady 9/2021 To a Dear Lady 9/2021 To a Dear Lady 9/2021 To a Dear Lady 9/2021
A client wanted to surprise his girlfriend with a painting. The theme, colours, and inspiration came from her smaragdine sofa and wildflowers.

Another sailor client wished for an abstract piece to adorn his walls. The colour palette included shades of blue and other neutral tones.
Free-Form Commission 5/2021 Free-Form Commission 5/2021 Free-Form Commission 5/2021 Free-Form Commission 5/2021
What happens when you’re given no boundaries or instructions from a client? This painting taught me to trust myself as an artist and to take risks.

A client who sails wanted two paintings that combine representational and abstract elements related to sailing. Blue and other neutral colours were requested.

The client wanted to give a painting as a Christmas present to his relatively new partner. The commission was informal and free-form, but abstract. The requested colours were mainly blue and neutral tones.
