Aalto Arts
This piece was the final project for the course Wandering/Wondering with Art (Liikkeellä taiteen kanssa). The assignment was to create a two-metre-long artwork in any form. In the middle of a very busy year full of celebrations, I wanted to make a necklace that I could wear at these festivities — to quite literally be on the move with my own art.
Weared
at my friend’s wedding in beautiful Taormina. The piece went into use right away, and it was refreshing to make art just for myself for once. While working on it, I spent a lot of time reflecting on my own taste and on how I express myself through the way I dress.
